The theme for the Summit is Improving Quality in the Healthcare Reform Era: Innovative Healthcare Delivery Systems in Communities of Color. This theme will be discussed within the larger context of health equity. We will also explore how the proposed provisions in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act - the expansion of Medicaid and the development of healthcare exchanges - might impact healthcare delivery models for communities of color.
